All High School Students to Receive an FCPS-Issued Laptop for Learning for 2019-20 School Year
Fairfax County public high schools are preparing to implement FCPSOn during the 2019-20 school year. FCPSOn is an initiative that provides equitable access to technology and instructional practices that support students' development of Portrait of a Graduate attributes. As part of FCPSOn, all high school students will be issued a laptop for learning at school and home.
Schools in the Chantilly Pyramid and eLearning Backpack high schools adopted FCPSOn as phase one of the project in 2016. The remaining high schools will implement FCPSOn this fall, pending approval of FCPS' FY 2020 Advertised Budget. Visit the FCPSOn webpage for more information.
