McLean teachers worked with rising ninth-graders July 23 to July 26 to jump-start the year with fun and engaging sessions designed to help them become successful in their transition to McLean High School. The program focused on helping students learn skills to ensure academic success while also emphasizing wellness and balance.  Teachers provided sessions on reading, math, note-taking and study skills, time management, organization, wellness, and high school life.  Thursday’s session was led by McLean High School’s Leadership students, who answered questions in a student panel format and provided team building activities to help students build their support network.
