Mr. Stansbery Recognized as the FCPS 2021 Region 2 Outstanding School-Based Leader

paul stansberyCongratulations to Director of Student Services Paul Stansbery who was recognized as the FCPS 2021 Region 2 Outstanding School-Based Leader and one of the six finalists for the FCPS Outstanding School-Based Leader at this year's FCPS Honors event, held at Jiffy Lube Live on June 9th.

Extraordinary times come with unique challenges and require leadership that is calm, thoughtful, strategic, and empowering. Paul Stansbery leads faculty and students with grace; understanding each individual’s strengths and leveraging that diversity to multiply effectiveness with equity at the forefront. He strives to educate students on how to create balance in their lives through appropriate rigor, positive relationships, and service to others. In short, he leads a community to foster student success and happiness through the challenges of the present and the possibilities of the future. Paul is caring, dedicated, and determined to do the right thing and do it well, leading authentically and by example for the McLean community and FCPS at large.
