New Student Registration
Welcome to McLean High School!
We are a school in Fairfax County, Virginia.
New Students for the current 2023-2024 School Year (Now Available)
- Students in grades 9-12 who are new to McLean High School and are not currently enrolled in another school in FCPS must complete the registration intake form below.
- Students who are new to McLean High School and who are currently enrolled in any school must first withdraw from their current school and then complete the registration intake form below.
New Students for the 2024-2025 School Year (starting Mid-March)
- Students who are rising 9th graders coming from Longfellow Middle School as 8th grade students do not need to enroll. The records are automatically transferred.
- Students who are grades 9-12 coming from other schools within FCPS must complete the registration intake form below.
- Students who are grades 9-12 coming from any school outside of FCPS must complete the registration intake form below.
Please double-check that you have entered the correct email address on the form below, as you will be contacted via email by Cindy Ramos, our school registrar, regarding your student's registration.

Registering a Student Whose Home Language Is Other Than or In Addition to English
Student families wishing to register a student with a home language other than or in addition to English should please contact the FCPS Student Registration Welcome Center. Here professionals may assess your student's English language skill and/or educational level. These assessments can provide valuable information to the local school and support your child's instructional needs.
