Teachers Participate in Pineapple Visits and Play Bingo

McLean High School teachers play professional development bingo, a friendly competition sponsored by the PTSA. One of the bingo squares is to host or do a pineapple visit, which is an informal classroom observation.

McLean new students were given a warm welcome on their first day of high school. McLean freshmen and transfer students learned about MHS clubs, activities, policies, and procedures. New students got a tour of the building and did team-building activities. Here's to a great school year!
AP Boot Camp

AP Boot Camp is an interactive leadership conference where students discuss and practice the qualities required for success in AP classes, college, and in the corporate world. AP Boot Camp is designed for students who are enrolling in their first AP class in the fall.

Congratulations as well to English Teacher Seth LeBlanc and AP History and Social Studies Teacher Cynthia Hawkins who were both named McLean HS pyramid-level recipients and recognized at FCPS Honors!
